Where to Stay in Cebu: Wellcome Hotel

I now understand why “staycations” are a thing. It is having the best of vacation plus just staying inside. I used to not get the concept but I love it now especially maybe because stress at work can sometimes take the better of me, and all I want is to do nothing — just lay in bed all day, watching Stylist Inc. (I enjoyed the show so much!). Last November, my husband and I booked a double room at Wellcome Hotel, a small hotel located near Ayala Center, for a “staycation.”

Where to Stay in Melaka: Layang-Layang Guesthouse via AirBnB

Layang-layang Guesthouse was one of the many gems I found in Melaka. This was my first time to book with AirBnB, and my first time was great! The search in AirBnB started when I could not find a good hotel in the city that was within our budget, which was P500 to P600 per night per person. Bus Travel to Melaka + Redbus.sg Booking Tips

The road to Melaka was easy. As I’ve mentioned here, I booked our bus tickets through Redbus.sg and used my BDO debit card to pay for the tickets. I choose to book our tickets with Redbus because I noticed they were giving 20% discount for all ticket purchases. Even if its just a few dollars, it’s still savings.
